I like my community a hell of a lot better when the summerfag age players go back into hiding. A couple days ago a 50 years old woman from my area posted that she wanted to be a "Hello Kitty" lolita (Even though she knows cat ears are looked down on, she might just have to break the rules teehee lol). Then today someone asked the entire comm where she could find little girls Sailor Moon panties.

Luckily the normal year round members are all pretty good.

I know two posers personally. One girl is a convincing poser. She told me once she didn't like Harry Potter, barely watched the first movie and never read the books. Lately I've seen her reblogging HP shit all over her Tumblr. Claims to be a gamer but most games sit unopened on her shelf. She also gets butthurt about calling someone a "fake geek girl" and is hardcore femnazi, which I believe she does it to bandwagon.
Other girl I know copies whatever is popular at the time or just happens to like whatever her friends do. Right now she's on a comic/super hero kick only because some of her friends are into it.
My conclusion is there are no "fake geek" girls but there are posers who only like things to fit in or be accepted
