I did consider casting at first, but it seemed like it might get too heavy even with better materials.
Model magic isn't for everyone, but I've had great expreriences as long as I build it on a solid base. I have a horn that is attached to a wig and 10 inches long that has lasted me several cons. Just have to be careful.
