Re-using a copyrighted original print without permission; as much of a copyright violation as art theft. Actually illegal if brought to court.

A legal loop hole; an object that duplicates the construction of a copyrighted object without an original print or copyrighted color (those exist). Not illegal or else someone could copyright the idea of pants.

They hate them showing up at official tea party events because it causes "brand confusion", which is the issue of people mistaking an item having been made by a different company. Replicas tend to be poorer quality then the originals, so attributing a poorly-made replica as the real thing can affect their sales and reputation.
