Will always be my dream dress, Misty Sky AP. I would be fine with buying the skirt/ JSK in lavender or blue colorway but can not seem to find it under 400 bucks

How do you deal with chiffon? I'm so nervous about damages, I feel like I shouldn't even sit down. I was going over a brand new dress I only tried on once and found there were already damages, and I wasn't rough with it at all. In some areas, really tiny little threads seemed to be popping out of the woven fabric. They're not that noticeable, but if I brushed up against anything at all, with my luck the little loops of thread would get caught and cause a run in the fabric or something. I went back and pushed each individual little thread back into the fabric, but I don't know if they can pop back up or if just staring at the dress will cause more little loops to become unwoven.
Is there an easy way to prevent damages to chiffon other than securing a perimeter around myself at all times?
