My costume has been giving me trouble for months. Whenever I solved one problem, two more would spring up in its stead like a hydra. What's even more frustrating is that it's a major portion of my costume, so until it's done I won't have anything to show these months of hard work for. I was getting really frustrated last night, so I took a break to go out to eat with my boyfriend, get some ice cream, and then he came back and helped me finish a hair accessory while I worked on my sewing machine. He immediately lifted my mood and I was able to make some major progress. I'll be able to attach the skirt tonight, hem, and call it finished. My heart is full, gulls.
