>tfw started a new full time job that makes $9 an hour, paid weekly, but Friday is the busiest day and I'm allowed to take one week day off of my choosing except that one
I got so excited to have money and weekends off to go to conventions and then realized I'd have to leave Friday evenings to get to them so what would even be the point to just show up for Saturday and Sunday?

I don't hear anything back from the email I sent. Live chat has vanished from the Fedex website and when I finally hunt it down on a random page it says no agents available to take my calls. I send them another email to their general customer help address. No reply.

Suck it up and call Fedex around 9am. Tell the agent my problem and she looks it up. Says they need paperwork for the package. Tell her I sent them an email with the paperwork. She looks again and suddenly discovers FromJapan sent them the paperwork overnight. Tells me everything is fine and that they're just waiting on customs to clear the package and it'll be delivered that day or 6/8.

Clearance delay. Call Fedex and get told they don't have the paperwork needed. I need to fill out paperwork to save my package. Tell them I was told to make a list of contents and email it to "upw@fedex". Worker sounds confused and tells me that's not the correct email address and there's another one, doesn't actually tell me what it is.
I let him know the last time I called they said they got the paperwork from the shipper. He looks again and suddenly finds the paperwork, claims they just got it last night and that they're just waiting on customs to release it now.
I ask him will it be delivered next week? He evades my question and just tells me when it gets released they'll contact me with a delivery estimate.

It's not even 8am and I want a drink. Never use Fedex, gulls. I'm never going to get off Mr. Delay's wild ride.
