I swear, in all my years of wearing lolita, the only times I've ever heard of it being associated with fetishes has been on /cgl/. it's such a non-issue, and people like you who get buttblasted and bring it up all the time regardless of context are only making it more visible.

"tastefully done" can include all those things you mentioned, or like, wearing a cami under a sheer blouse for a skirt coord. and your bullshit about sheer items in lolita, or slight eroticism isn't a "hijack" or a new thing, it's an element that's been experimented with in the fashion for many, many years, to varying degrees of success. we are not all indignant prudes like yourself.
