Atleast from what I know there shouldn't be a size L, just M, 2L and 4L. So pick the best size out of the three and ignore the L. To calm your mind, there has also no size L ever been sold on LM (opposite to a shitton of Ms and 2/4Ls) and their rakuten page says the same.
