Alright, so a while back, I mentioned that there were two anime cons in my area on april 15, both very close to each other (literally one block apart). I went to both of them, to see what effect this had on each event.

>Yukai Fest invited Kinpatsu Cosplay, among other cosplayers
>focus was on cosplay, so surprise, almost all the cosplayers interested in anime events that day went there
>plenty of games and stands
>gamer sections didn't smell bad
>even found a little group of people to chat with
>was pretty based, desu

then there was Jigoku Style
>played it very safe, perhaps too safe with most of its guests (mostly the same cosplayers as always, the main attraction was some youtuber I don't know at all, and some group of fat fucks singing anime OPs from the 90s-00s, along with some shit original song of theirs)
>not a lot of cosplay here, to my disappointment
>generally, it felt more empty, less alive than Yukai Fest
>you could even notice it in the 2nd room floor where you watch anime showings in this big room with a stage - usually it's full, but this time there were many noticeable empty seats
>gamer section is still too fucking small and once again, it smelled like sweat, despite there being less people in it
