I agree, creepers aren't lolita, but punk lolita is supposed to be a mashup of the two styles. I don't consider huge stompy combat boots lolita either, but they have their place in the substyle.

As for the special snowflake accusation - fair enough, but it is a thread about the more outlandish substyles, so I'm not sure what else you were expecting.
