Jacket

I have pretty much everything already, tshirt, official jacket, custom painted nikes based off his shoes with the straps and all, and white wash pants with the richard mask. All I need is the bandages, blood splatters, and the tape recorder like in Payday 2. I'm not sure how cons are about weapons, so I can't decide on what to bring.

so I'm wanting to cosplay as jacket at GenCon but just the though of wearing a latex mask in the summer heat is making me sweat. Can anyone reccommend a possible fix? I'm totally open to buying a new mask since the on I had didn't even survive halloween.

Velma, lucoa, Harleys of any flavor, poison ivy, Wonder woman, bunny anything, mei, fursuiters with the goofy-ass mascot padding (for some reason I'm okay with the humanoids?) Basically anything fat people do.

BONUS RANT

If you're doing hotline Miami please don't buy that shitty thin track jacket, you're a contract killer not captain of the chess team. Find a used letterman jacket on eBay. Yes I know the colors will be different and the letter won't be B, but that's the point, Jacket isn't the only Jacket. You will look one million times better.

In the process of putting together a Jacket costume for an upcoming con. Got most of the elements set up, biggest to-do now is the mask. I have a latex-and-fur chicken mask I got at a costume store that I'm looking to do some cosmetic work on. The latex parts I generally have figured out, I got some liquid latex and acrylic paint I'm going to use for blacking out the eyes and doing some washes and drip effects and whatever. And obviously I'll have some fake blood prepped up that I'll go wild with closer to the con.

What I'm not so sure about is how to treat the fur in order to give it a grimey beat-up kind of look. I've looked at some fursuiting construction stuff but they generally aim for a cleaner appearance than what I'm aiming for. I'm assuming there's a more... elegant way of getting an appropriate staining effect beyond dumping the mask in a bag full of planting dirt or something.
