Forgot this one - another 90s item from Baby. The caption says Pretty, but I have this in black and it's BTSSB - I noticed a lot of the time girls would just list where they got something, instead of the brand itself. You can find a few more Baby items listed as Pretty in early issues of FRUiTS.

Trying to think of something not already listed...
I just really love the feeling of being in another world, looking so different and creative. This feeling swells in me whenever I’m wearing lolita out for regular errands or just taking myself on a date. Feels unique and joyous.

This thread is so pleasing to look at and the makes me reminisce the days when I was first introduced to lolita, which was over 10 years ago. The look wasn’t a vomit of prints and looking as cute as possible as it is today (not that there something wrong with that or like it, it’s just not my cup of tea), but simplicity and I don’t remember what the word is called. Aesthetic and simplistic?

I don't think she's trying to match her shoes with her hair.. it just used to be pretty normal to wear black/brown shoes with everything. Not saying it looks great now that there are so many options, but if you flip through old fruits coords everyone is wearing only red, white, or black shoes. pic related

I posted an oldschool outfit on CoF and it was deleted after five minutes and I have no idea why, I mean it was mostly handmade/vintage but do you have to be wearing brand for it to be lolita fashion? Is that style not acceptable on that page or is it just not considered "real" lolita anymore??
