holy fuck

well 2 friends are in the hospital now for 2 different reasons

Does anyone need a room or know of someone who needs a room that I can transfer mine to? It's a single bed at the Azure with checkin on 26th and checkout on 29th.

If I have to I'll just cancel it and lose out on the cancellation fee, but I figured I would check if anyone needed the room here first.

just started dating someone new
we really care about each other
but they know nothing about anime or cosplay or cons and have no interest at all in them

cons have been the only thing keeping me treading water out of the depths of my depression
i feel like im being torn apart now and lowkey wish i never met them so at least i wouldnt have to choose between these 2

i just wish someone would run me over or an accident would happen so i could get out of this heartbreak

I attended a con recently and spent an evening with some really fun people from the board. It's hard though because it was the first time in several years I felt that level of fun and feeling of belonging with people. It reminded me at the end what a stark contrast and empty life I have now though after, on returning to my hotel that night I just sobbed in the bathroom so my roommates couldn't hear. Funny how much some random people from the internet can affect your life and remind you what it feels like to be alive again, something I guess I had tried to numb away to ignore the lows.
I cant really message the people I met because I'd rather not bring them down, and hell they owe me nothing, not even the time to listen to me since I'm just a random. I love them so much though.

Sorry for the rambling folks, just the con feels.

I've commissioned over 1000 artists over 5 years, no joke.

Would anyone be interested in a guide from a 'professional' commissioner about what we see from our side at anime cons and what artists can do to improve?

I'm sure alot of it won't be really applicable to the majority of regular congoers that just impulse shop AA
