I would totally be down for a get together. I get together with a little group occasionally for tea, lawn games, cards and other amusements. I even just polished my tea silvers.

I like the colors, idea and hat, but the execution is crap.

>Can you suggest some decent swords for the ouji aristocrat look?

Firstly, whats your budget? Look to spend at least $120+shipping on a nice dress-only piece. Pieces of a more robust nature will cost more.

Secondly, brass or steel furniture? I would suggest to stick to various styles of 18thC smallswords, and avoid military designs. I can give links if desired.

>get your backside hauled off by the cops for 'carrying bladed weaponry'.

In Britbongistan, sure. In the US, any adult can legally open carry any length of blade anywhere that is not government property or private property that has a posted no weapon policy/you are requested to not carry.

Further, you get more leeway when dressed in clothing that can be mistaken for reenactment garb.

Its still an inconvenience though, from a practical standpoint.

>Actually I think the Japanese tried Alice kei, but Alice Deco only lasted a bare handful of issues. The new Eternita magazine also bills itself as being for "adult Alices", so I guess you could support that. Or maybe we could just up and call ourselves Alices from here on out.

>The Western side had Candy Violet calling her fashion Quaintrelle instead of lolita. She was kinda somewhat batshit, though.

I learned something today!
