There's been a lot of lackluster weeaboo horror stories recently. Why not branch out a little bit?
Let's share all sorts of horror stories. Maybe you had a terrible convention, maybe you had an interesting experience involving commissions, during a gathering, etc.

I'm sick to death of this shit every year. I've been going to Acen for five years, this one being my sixth, and every year since the first has been awful with guests. It's not even just guest announcements they're bad with. They're awful when it comes to organizing signings and panels. Every year except for my second, I've been denied to meet a guest. Take note that the second year, I didn't meet any guests. Last year I got turned down from meeting Chris Sabat, and the only other opportunity to meet him was at FUNimation's PASwG English dub panel. I was also not aware that you had to have official merch for a FUNI signing, so I had to leave my spot in line to run and buy a wallscroll for them to sign. Moral of the story, Chris was the first at the signing table and I mentioned to him that I look up to him in a sense and that I was disappointed that I didn't get to meet him under normal circumstances. He told me that Acen was the convention that he had met the fewest people at. The staff needs to get their heads out of their asses and start making everything more organized. They need to make sure to plan better for their autograph sessions, start enforcing the 'don't like up until at least an hour before' rule, and for the love of God give El Ken some help! If I have to deal with another year of "Look it's a month before the con and here are all of your guests!" and "Oops sorry we're just going to refuse almost everyone in line" I'm going to lose it.

You are actually spending part of your life giving a shit about the attitudes of these people toward their cosplay, as though their conceit and arrogance should have anything to do with you.

I get it if they are overt assholes. In that case, by all means call them out. But it's just pathetic to watch the bitching.
