Good thread, OP.

Pic related is one of the first pics of the fashion that I've ever seen, and still one of my top favorites.

>What do you like about lolita?
The aesthetic, the attention to details and quality, the fact it's unique in how feminine it is and how it stands out even among other alternative fashion styles. And the fact it makes me feel beautiful, of course.
>What made you want to be one? Any inspiration?
I guess the look and lifestyle ideas just spoke to me on a deep level, enough to make me want to try it for myself.
My biggest inspirations back when I was a beginner were the girls on EGL and daily_lolita; the GLB models were always beautiful but the girls in the international comms made the fashion look "real" and achievable, and I wanted to look like them more than anything.
>What is lolita to you? Besides clothes
In my personal little bubble of existence, I see it as a subculture. I know some people like to argue that it's just clothes but I think there's definitely some sort of culture formed around these clothes and it's silly to deny its existence, be it the meetups, the "language" and inside jokes, the artists (musical or otherwise) that inspire and are inspired by the fashion, even the drama and other online shenanigans.
>What is your lolita aesthetic?(doll,witch,fairy,...)
I feel like I'm repeating >>9391981 here, my aesthetic goes between doll-like and "maiden from a past era" as well. I also like the somber gothic nun look too.
>Is there anything that makes you "feel" more lolita?
Going back to my "lolita roots" gives me that feeling, specifically browsing EGL's archives and old lifestyle blogs that haven't been updated in years. It makes me a bit sad but I like the bittersweet nostalgia.
>Any special lolita moment/text/image/... to share?
Pic related is one of the first images of the fashion that I've ever seen, it captivated me and is still one of my favorite pics ever.
