I know that feel anon. I'm a grown adult but I still buy the fruit of the loom packs and the playtex bras that old ladies wear. I was raised by my grandparents so I have no idea how to go about lingerie, or even cute undie shopping, without feeling weirdly embarrassed even though it's a relatively normal things for women my age to do.

I don't understand how Automatic Honey managed to get popular when they quite literally copied/traced AP's bear and sold it as their own. Sure, AP didn't invent cute bears, but you can't deny that AH's little bear mascot is pretty much identical to AP's.

Last year I joined a cosplay comm that already had established friendships and whatnot, but I slowly started to find myself talking to more people and making acquaintances with everyone there and ended up actually meeting a guy that I'm now dating. I was going through a really great period of "Wow, I'm dating this amazing guy, we all have the same friend group and we do stuff together, this is great!" Well, now it's summer (it's a pretty college student-centric comm) and while my bf and I are among the ones that have stayed in the area over the summer, I work 2+ jobs (waiting to hear back from one in the field I've actually studied for, but it's parttime so it would be a third job, that it's own long story) and my bf works a full time job during the day, and I work usually at night so there's few times I get to see him. That's cool, but now he's starting to hang out with our friends without me. Now, I can't say "our friends" in confidence because he's known them longer, but for example the other day they all hung out when I wasn't at work and when I mentioned how "Yeah, I was free" he just said "Yeah, you probably shouldn't have come." And like, they all talk and plan stuff behind my back and my bf MIGHT casually say "I'm doing this with these people if you wanna do that", but I'm never actually invited. It's either I'm hanging out with my boyfriend, or they've made plans with my boyfriend and I'm just sort of...there. It makes me feel weird because we have a friend and her boyfriend that we sort of make jokes about for having that same dynamic and I'm worried that these "friends" actually dislike me, and that my bf might be planning to break up with me. Obviously I'm overthinking and can't bring this up with him because I don't wanna scare him away, but I'm really scared. I love him and I don't want to break up because our friends hate me.

Starting a new job tomorrow and pretty nervous. It's a shitty retail job, and at a very lax place that I'm familiar with, but part of the dress code is "wear things we sell or that it looks like we could sell" (very generic normie clothes) and my entire wardrobe is either JFashion or clothes that don't fit. I'm worried as heck. My shifts are sparse, so I can get away with stealing my boyfriend's clothes for the first couple weeks, but man is this nerve-wracking.

We were told at orientation about the dress-code, and I/they had known I had a solid job there for over a month, (enough time to gather appropriate clothing with determination) yet they tell me a week before I start, because "it's just normal clothing; a shirt and jeans!"

I get that to most people that would never be an issue and I'm the weird one here for being ass-deep in a foreign fashion to the point of not owning jeans, but that doesn't change the fact that I have to scramble around to find clothes now.

Typically I would be mad at myself at this point for accepting a job without proper clothing, but when I was interviewed they said there "wasn't really a dress code."

Was "volunteering" for a paid gig at a con. Sounded like a done deal. Got an email that said smth along the lines of, "you should be expecting a call over the weekend" and never got a call back. Emailed them yesterday or the day before, still no response.

Well, at least she knows it's a replica? I hope she had unknowingly ordered it (long) before she was added into the comm rather than willingly ordered it because she's young/it's too expensive to get the real deal and/or doesn't fit in the real version (though, fit shouldn't actually be a problem in her case).

I kind of envy her enthusiasm desu, but I'm also annoyed and feel sad for her if she had willingly and knowingly bought a replica, considering that I'm her mentor. I guess she'll just have to learn the hard way.

What do I do gulls, my bf has started to obsess over Rem.
i agreed to cosplay her and egged on the idea, because according to him we are similar,expect I have long hair. I dont get what he means but he was beginning to drool over the tiny asian Rem cosplayers on how "perfect" they are,even posting "must resist urge" in full caps. He brought it up recently that his birthday is coming up and he might want me to wear the cosplay.
I feel uncomfortable now doing this for him....should I brave though it or not?
