decora, much like every other jfashion on this board, comes with a certain theme-ing/mood in mind when creating an outfit. You can figure out when someone is intending on decora from the way their outfit is structured. If you can't, take the time to read about decora and look at lots of pictures to immerse yourself, and then you'll probably understand more. It's like saying "what's the feeling of eating XX food", because someone can say that it's unbearably spicy and someone can disagree and say it's mild, but it's still XX food regardless. Someone can be in denial that it's spicy enough but it's still that food.

Modern day decora takes form either as Akiba Kei with itabags and full outfits like Love Livers or in the west alongside fairy kei fanatics.
