/cgl/ - Cosplay & EGL

For those of you from the last thread wondering about the Von Karma cos, I got photos back from yoybuy today and overall it's what I expected for the price, not gonna complain. I think it does look like it's the same as the listing's stock pictures, just with shittier gems (I was gonna cast my own to match the jewelery anyways), and in need of some ironing/tlc. Was worried that the jabot piece wasn't included, but both it and a pair of tights seem to be included, albeit cut off slightly by the top left picture. Other pics show that skirt and vest are both properly lined (of course they photographed it backwards here, whoops) and finished, and everything was sent in the proper size.

Aside from casting replacements for all the various jewels, I'm planning on remaking the sleeve cuffs, likely making a bow/jabot with some more volume, and I'll see what else needs modifying/redoing when it gets here.
Debating on whether or not to replace the yellow, thoughts? Unfortunately that godawful big bird yellow is pretty accurate to some of her older art/sprites (pic related), but I'm considering swapping it for something a bit thinner and more muted like in most recent iterations.

tl;dr : bought it as a cheap starting point or fixer-upper and for under $25usd I'm more than pleased with what I got
