Thanks for your reply. I am an autismo and that's why I'm worried. If I just go in to get my eyes fitted and not buy anything, that seems a little suspicious and I'm not sure what I would tell them other than the truth. I am very bad at lying.

Never been to a con before. How far ahead in advance am I supposed to book a hotel room for a con? Tried to book for Ohayocon in December, but no rooms (understandably). Then I tried to find rooms for Colossalcon, no rooms at all. Then I looked for rooms for Matsuricon thinking SURELY a con that's eight months away will have some hotel rooms available, but it doesn't look like it. Am I just fucked for going to any cons in Ohio this year, or would it still be worth it to get an Airbnb or something?
