One more for now, with the poll question being "Should cross-boarders/ random males with little /cgl/ interests be allowed to join?".
Despite the talk on the threads, we actually very rarely have blatant crossboarders and/or random males (or even random females) sign up. The vast majority of participants mention several /cgl/ interests on their forms (whether it be in the info just for the organizers, or for their Santa to see), even if their actions in the exchange indicate otherwise.

As one respondent said:
>"It's important that non-J-fashion participants don't feel discriminated against. /cgl/ may have shifted more towards J-fashion lately, but be careful to not let that turn into a tyranny of the majority. Everyone on /cgl/ should have the same ability to join without feeling excluded. Another thing to consider is that /cgl/ isn't just for cosplay and J-fashion, it also covers the interests of handcraft, LARP and cons. Maybe some effort should be made to somehow include those people too. As for the actual question itself. Let people join, but don't match up people who know nothing about the board topic with people with difficult wishes that require taste. The rules are probably fine as they are. What's a crossboarder though, I wouldn't consider /cgl/ my main home but I do visit it. I do think that the ideal should be that people who feel some belonging to /cgl/ (such as myself) should be able to join."
