btw, I was browsing around for some SB and other interior design blogs and ran across this one
>notsoshabby-shabbychic.blogspot.

At first I was like

but you've got to admit, it is pretty damn impressive, and to be fair, she's a Pharmacy technician and I think that's admirable. I have no idea what would be in store for me in the future, but all I want is a house that's as cute as hers (definitely not all SB inspired) with a garden and a dog (definitely not 10 poms though - a corgi is the smallest I'll go). Having a nice job to fund my lolita and other related interests would be a plus.

I'm living in an apartment that allows me to do very little in it, especially with the furnishings that already came with it. I'm not sure if they'd allow me to have it gone in place of a different sized bed. I have a feeling that they'd want me to put back the original bed. I'm a poor college student, so buying a lot of new stuff is not exactly an option for me. I'd love it to be though. The desk and dresser is similar in color theme as >>6853858

Huh. How about light colored curtains and rug? Do you have any light colored decor to put on top of the headboard? I'm sure that light colored bed sheets, comforter, and pillows would work too. If you have the money for it, unlike me, Target has some adorable "shabby chic" sets. Maybe it would contrast with the dark headboard and all, but you could always try to balance it out with some woodsy wall decals (if you're less scared about than I am).
