The best relationship I've been in my girlfriend was into the same things as me (vidya, animu) but our tastes differed dramatically. She was into fighting and action games while I preferred RPGs and strategy, she was a huge fan of JoJo's while I loved One Piece - that kind of thing. And while you'd think we'd be mortal enemies, it actually made the relationship very healthy between us. Unfortunately, it ended because it was pretty much doomed to forever be long-distance, and we just couldn't deal with that.
