So my sword arrived, for £15 or whatever the price was before shipping, it's not bad. It's huge, and a bit heavier than I expected. I was under the illusion that the handle was detachable/ re- attachable so that I could store it in two pieces, but nope, they give you a hot glue stick to put it together. I don't trust the hot glue so I'll do something else. The biggest disappointment is the paint job, it's really sloppy in places, but funnily enough I had a silver sharpie marker that matches perfectly, so for someone like me who's never really had any experience with props and couldn't have done any better if I tried, it was fine.
