I think the issue isn't that she's a spoiled brat (though she is), it's that she's completely removed from reality. There's a thin line between the two, and the latter might be associated with some sort of minor mental disorder.

Brats can understand logic, they just want instant gratification without doing any work. Through time and care you can train a brat to get up on their own feet and become independent. But it's hard, near impossible to train PT considering how up the wall delusional she is.

I seriously think PT has some form of mental illness. Maybe even just a minor form of autism, but it's making her problem unbeatable. I think the best form of action would be to first get her into some counseling. I don't even think meds would be necessary if you found someone she could work with.

I wouldn't kick her out of the house in her current state. When you shove a baby bird out of the nest, some fly away. Some fall to the ground and get eaten alive by ants. She'd probably end up latching onto someone else to support her. The concept of supporting herself isn't even a tangible reality to her- It's like telling her to turn into a bird and fly away or something.

As her mom I WOULD however cut her off financially. No more supporting her hobbies. She has to buy her own things, especially beauty supplies. Eventually she could even start buying her own food.

Once she's capable of supporting herself you could kick her out, and I think she'd have a fighting chance.
