i can see why a newb to AA's might assume it's okay since the dealer's hall (at least in my local cons) is rife with bootleg, but even if it's not technically against con rules, it's trashy as fuck. like other anons, i just wouldn't buy from someone who i saw with bootleg merch. even stuff like pic related (just drawing over the undertale sprites with a pen tool...) makes me think much less of an artist. there's trying to cash into a market, and then there's being a lazy, uncreative asshole.
