That has never been the case for any AX going back as far as 2005. I don't know what convention you're pretending AX is, but 99.9% of it is bored weebs shuffling through halls and .1% is ongoing industry panels running advertisements on projectors, shops trying to peddle goods, and cosplay gatherings in extremely inconvenient locations. A non-stop gay pounding fest would be leaps and bounds more interesting than most AX's have ever been.
