What's troublesome though is that some of the drama threads stay because they're masked in a "huehue it's about cosplay I am just posting Jnigger because she is a cosplayer~~~" even though it's super obviously a bait thread.

People gripe about the janitor all the time and we all know that she sees it. I just wish she would take some initiative and change her pruning methods. You can still follow the no dramu rule without being so touchy about everything. You can also follow the no dramu rule and be more proactive when you know it's obviously a drama thread, even if it's masked. (ie the /r9k/ JNigri threads.) Also, she deleted the gijinka thread? What? How does deleting that even reflect the rules?

I feel like we don't have enough generic idea dump threads. I want to be able to see more than /just/ cosplay and lolita. I want to be able to see things that inspire you to do this and that, even though it isn't strictly lolita or cosplay itself.

I miss the dramu threads, but aside from the overly touchy janitor, the board is still alright. I'm not a fan of the constant hugbox, though, as >>7137146 said. I don't like how sensitive everyone is.

I don't really have much to say other than what has already been said. Just saying, hey janitor, you know a bunch of people dislike what you're doing. You can still uphold the rules without deleting every little thing that you personally dislike. If you can't separate your personal opinions from the work you're doing, maybe you shouldn't be the janitor.

/cgl/ has always been a mean, rude, jealous shithole, but it's OUR shithole. Please don't ruin it anymore than the Janitor already has. /cgl/ is my home.

it gets submissions sometimes that are like "PEOPLE SAY THIS MY LITTLE PONY TSHIRT IS TOO CASUAL FOR LOLITA BUT I DISAGREE!"
and I'm just like...you got concrit, why are you completely disregarding it. I feel bad for these girls' comms. they must be at their wits end trying to help them not look like shit and they're just like WELL I DIDN'T ASK FOR YOUR OPINION SO

the thing about lolita is that it tends to attract nerdy girls, which is fine, but a lot of these nerdy girls have never worn anything besides tshirts and baggy jeans and they try to do ~*FASHION*~ in this hamhanded way where they're imitating what they think is fashion. which is also fine, as long as they can take and use concrit...
but then there's girls who just can't handle being told they're not special perfect snowflakes and that's when blogs like this appear.
