Me too. And in regards to the attitude of >>10156235 I have never posted in these threads to be drawn, I only come to draw. Kind of offtopic but in general Ive felt the overall vibe of cgl change and I haven't liked it as much. I'd say I stopped browsing as frequently since the HWC-saga.
Also it doesnt help that the board is pretty slow

Just ignore the stupid comments if you get them, its better to ignore them than fuel and spiral into a bicker. Maybe posting a sticker over your face would make it easier to post? A lot of girls do that in this thread, and draw anons like myself love to draw the person kind of as the sticker haha. like if you use an animal sticker, I guarantee you'll get at least one drawing as that animal wearing lolita

And if your plus sized or have any feature of your body your self conscious about, please please dont worry. I love lolitas of all shapes and sizes. As long as your outfit isnt a hot mess you're good

Oh yes I know that feeling. I cringe and tense up when I see most pictures of myself so I can't give you any advice, but consider this:

How many times have you seen someone and felt your heart flutter, or just been taken aback by how beautiful they are? That's happened to me like a handful of times out of the thousands and thousands of people I've seen IRL and online, and never from just a photo. If you've ever had a proper crush you how much further it goes than just appearance. Before you met them you might not have even noticed them. But after, once you've seen their expressions and heard their voice and know how cool they are? That's when they stand out to you, and I think that's how it goes for most people.

As long as the alteration is done nicely I literally do not care if anyone alters brand. When I was a newbie I hated the idea of alterations and had the mindset that I think some others have where... brand sort of belongs to the community since you will 9/10 times resell back into it. However now I have the opinion that even if you are altering brand for a fit issue and you resell it, there is likely another girl out there with your body type that would appreciate buying it. Tall lolitas, plus size, smaller than normal. There is all a market for it second-hand.

I also dont care if you are altering just to change the design or hide damages in the dress. I just find most alterations are for fit issues
