I used to answer peoples' asks on my cosplay blog all the time, typed out detailed replies, walked them through things they got stuck on, etc. But you know what? Out of the many, many, MANY people I helped out or told what I used/how I did a thing, only two ever thank me or replied back. Two. That's it. One of those was just a "Thanks!" which is still better than no response at all.
If I go to the trouble and time of working with you and helping you out with your questions, I'd at least like a thank you or have the person tell me how it worked for them.
So in the end I just quit answering questions at all and never reply, it got tiring and I feel like people don't appreciate it. I don't know if that's a cunt think to do but I just got tired of it.
