do you put on concealer like left or right in pic related? i used to always shove concealer kinda all over my undereye area in the hopes of brightening it (like on the left), since i also have very hollow eyes. then i started putting it ONLY in the hollow (on right) and blending it carefully so none goes below that hollow line, it sort of tricks the eye. I find that if I go over the line I instantly look more tired and the hollows look worse. I also always take a highlighter and highlight the inner corners of my eyes liberally, putting blush on the high parts of your cheek will help also. it's all about pulling forward sunken areas and pushing back the cheeks.

colour correcting might also help, like if you have purple bags then use a more yellowish concealer.
