Anon, i do admit that the character is slightly darker if you squint but it's virtually invisible compared to the other characters.

I'm asian too and someone in tumblr posted shit about me and said I was whitewashing and didn't draw a character "POC enough" because of something like this, nobody else even ever draw that character with dark skin.
