I definitely understand what you're saying, though we wanted to give everyone a large amount of time to work with, as that was one of the complaints about last year. This year's early start (which some people thought was too early) and the generous shipping deadline were both chosen to allow for slow shipping (ie: Taobao and Aliexpress) and any other issues.
Regardless, I'll take your feedback and pass it along to the team for next year!

Like what >>10058104 said, most recipients have not expressed any desire for arrival by a certain date (I believe you're the first one this year, and in past years we had just a handful because of matters such as going on vacation, leaving for school, etc). This year had some particular challenges, such as the Canada Post Strike, but every year it seems the vast majority of people ship their items within 10 days of the deadline.

For yourself or anyone else who in the future would like to have their gift arrive in time to open on Christmas, please consider requesting a domestic partner (usually faster shipping), and even more importantly, indicate on your form/ write-up section that you would like the gift shipped in time to arrive on a certain date!
Your Santa can't read your mind, but I'm sure they'd be willing to fulfill your request if they know in advance!
