No, I enjoy simple coords, but having a simple coord doesn't mean your coord should be unbalanced. It looks okay if your coord is balanced, but that's hard to do for a lot of people.

It's cute and simple, but she's put all of her solid blues on her upper body. It could have been better if she wore other tights or socks that could help pull the eye.
