WHY do you think there's currently a sweet boom?

I hav some ideas
1) there's more people coming into this fashion through youtube ,particularly Lor and Tyler, and since the majority of famous lolitas on Youtube are sweet lolitas, there's more demand for sweet
2) The sweet lolitas that joined the community during the 2010s when OTT sweet reigned supreme and old enough to have enough money to splurge
