god my first meetup was horrible.
I wasn't allowed the internet at home in HS, so most of my knowledge of lolita came from Manga. I bought some overpriced bodyline outfits at an anime convention, and through reccomendations, found a lolita meetup. I joined and everyone was dressed so nicely, in brand, everything. They constantly made side comments about how its "not that hard to afford brand, just stop buying crap and save up" and kept critisizing my outfit. I knew my knowledge was limited, So I asked some of the girls to teach me, since I geniunely wanted to learn. We exchanged numbers with the promise of helping teaching, and they blew me off constantly. Once I got my own computer a year later I found out they were posting me to Ita threads. I became a lone lita after that, but since then I did learn how to properly dress and manage to buy quite a bit of brand.

You'd think that more places would be foreigner friendly. I'm not trying to chat people up, I'm trying to stay at neat looking hotels. If the concern is language barriers, we have modern technology. And if you are a hotel of all places, it wouldn't kill you to hire bilingual staff.

Shit reminds me of how I was trying to order stuff on Rakuten years ago, where their storefronts were in english, it said they shipped overseas, but when I shot them an email they told me "no foreigners." I just really don't get it.

I work the night shift, and my housing situation doesn't allow me to use the kitchen/fridge the only place that's open when I'm done working are fast food places.

I'm sick of putting this shit in my body, I feel grosser and grosser with every meal and can feel myself getting fatter.

I can't wait to move out and eat healthy, tone down and cosplay characters with their midriff showing.

God I feel so gross why would anyone willingly do this to themselves
