It's a visor and the gem is drawn on top of it. More likely, the visor just forms around the shape of the gem. For cosplays, I think the best way to go about it is to glue the gem on top of the visor.

I've seen a bunch of people say this but.... Why yellow? Peridot's visor isn't yellow. I feel like it would just look weird. Does anyone have any examples of Peridots who have tried this?

Yeah this was my backup plan for the fingers since I ran out of time but I'm going to attempt silicone ones for next time (if they turn out well)

I have a lot of time to experiment with it at least since my next con wouldnt be until sakura con in march if i decide to go to it

I'm also planning a peridot cosplay and going to use black gloves for it and probably put rubber tubes or some other thing over each of my fingers.
