CCXP is exactly that way. Panels focused in comics, you still have some anime/manga related things but not that much (off the top of my head I only remember crunchyroll and a dragon ball super area). There are considerable amount of anime cosplayers though. If you have no interest on comics, then I would recommend AF over CCXP no doubt.

If you are coming from Northeast I believe it will be expensive. Transportation and hotel to Sao Paulo will be most of it, I advise you to look a lot for options, once here public transport is reasonable good (they usually have special buses from metro to the event) and you can always count with Uber. Other than that, R$50~100 from entrance, R$15~20 from a slice of pizza, R$5~10 from a soda, if you got a car R$40~50 from parking. Also there are specials tickets to meet & greet/autograph sessions that have an extra cost (my friend got some of these but I dont remember how much it was). Those are some of the costs I can think now.
