Pensacon is retarded
after pulling press pass from youtuber "Geeks and Gamers" they got mad at his friend another youtuber "ComicArtistPro Secrets" (run by Ethan Van Sciver "EVS") for reporting on it.

Pensacon told EVS in an email they received a bomb threat a week before and that's why they where threatening people with arrest.
EVS asked for the threat so he could share it, Pensacon sends him a copy and says they notified Homeland Security, he reads it on a livestream and talks about it on twitter.
a fan tags the FBI in a tweet talking about the bomb threat.
FBI contacts EVS and asks what is going on, he tells them everything and the FBI agent says there has been no bomb threat reported to any agency.
EVS laughs about the fake threat on livestream and so Pensacon threatens to sue him for defamation.

Problems for the dubs create problems for the subs, anon. If Funimation runs themselves into the ground over this, Toei and Shueisha lose out on the dub market for Dragonball, lose a lot of money.

It hasn't been going on for 10 years, no proofs. Just another lefty lynch mob looking to crucify a colleague who doesn't agree with them politically.

The inside scoop is (allegedly) that they tried to get him fired months ago, there was an internal investigation, it came back inconclusive so Funimation did nothing. Then the Broly movie came out and they jumped at another chance to fire Vic. Supposedly all the SJW VAs threatened to quit unless Funimation fires Vic. Since Vic is only really necessary for Broly and that character likely won't make another appearance for years, they bit the bullet and caved to their SJW VAs

Honestly you'd think companies would have the sense not to hire SJWs anymore. They are never anything but trouble.
