huntress wizard seems like the most interesting option but i think a luna cosplay would be amazing!
i'm currently overinvested in fire emblem three houses and ingrid galatea would look really nice as well. also the witch princess from the harvest moon games! she seems to fit with your general aesthetic of characters better.

I honestly dont know many male jrpg characters, so I cant really recommend you any, but I think the brown haired granblue character would suit you! If you like working with armor you could look at some monster hunter armor sets, theres quite a few cool ones

Heres mine, its from a while ago, but nothing really changed, Im currently really into Monster Girls, so if you have any suggestions, please tell me!

Has anybody ever actually taken any of the suggestions they got from these threads seriously and ended up making them? I feel like they're really just for stroking our egos and/or getting confirmation on which of our pre-existing ideas are best. Speaking as someone who used to post in these.

In a way, yeah I did. Had a bunch of people suggest to me to do a Chisaki/Overhaul from BnHA and ended up doing another of the Eight Precepts while another friend did Chisaki (he fit the look a bit better).

I usually just used these threads to choose a character from a bunch of options in a series. The other ideas people gave me I usually ended up watching / playing the series if it looked interesting enough, though!
I get way quicker and more relevant answers from asking on ig now, so I also stopped posting in these threads. It's a bit difficult on here when people don't really know your tastes well.

I think she has a good frame for cosplaying a ton of stuff. Unfortunately, I typically watch more shonen and mature things and play vidya. Neither of which particularly expose me to characters that fit the more petite frame.

Not sure how calling someone petite is creepy. Sensitive much?

Characters were are adolescents and what I think they would look like as adults (now that I have more "adult/mature" bodytype).

I've been coming to cgl since they first opened board. I stopped because of how dead it became but pop in from time to time.

The original draw of cgl over cosplay.com was the entire concept of anonymity and not getting banned.

As a result, people were free to say whatever they wanted to critique others. Compared to cosplay.com where everyone was concerned about reputation and niceties.

This is a little bit different but I bought a wig for a Caleb cosplay from Critical Role and the color is super wrong for him, AND it's too late for a return so I'm trying to think of characters it would work for. I put two that came to mind but I'm not super invested in either, would love suggestions.

Hm, that's a tough one. Your suggestions are both good, but hopefully I can give you something you'd be more passionate about. Almost all of these suggestions would require straightening out your wig though.. If you watch anime, there's Yona from Yona of the Dawn, Shirayuki from Snow White with the Red Hair, Chise from Ancient Magus Bride, Madam Red from Black Butler, or Red Blood Cell from Cells at Work. Looks like you lean toward light armored characters, so I might recommend Shiro Emiya Archer from Fate. But since you also prefer vidya stuffs I would also suggest looking into some of the Bloodborne armors; like the Cainhurst or Bone Ash sets.
