Since the last thread died, and the stupid jfashion question is not always the best place, let's do it again !

god my mistake, I will repost the unanswered question here since the thread obviously got deleted :
>I don't know if there was any lolita involved, but I think it was possibly alice in wonderland inspired and I thought maybe you weebs might recall it. Memory is vague, but I remember an animated music video for some Japanese chamber pop-esque song where there was a scene with a girl standing on the hands of a clock, or something similar. I think there were plucked string instruments in the song. I tried searching all kinds of keywords and couldn't find the song. I found it sometime in 2003-2005.

>Anyone remember that lolita beginner tutorial parody on youtube from like 2014 or something? Think it was a girl called Neko Pocky Desu and wearing a replica of Milky Chan the Fawn. I can't find it

>This reminded me, did anyone else join Mana’s social network back in the 2000s? I can’t remember what it was called, let alone my log in details, but I’m curious about it

>Anybody archived good secrets from back then? I remember saving like four before tinypic shut down

>There was a video on YT about 30 minutes long that was a Japanese tv report on Lolita fashion. It was around Christmas. First, they went to AP when it was lucky pack seasons and asked some people there what they got, then, they asked people in the street why they wear Lolita fashion, etc... then they went to an AP tea party. There was also Cathy cat at some point I believe. The video got removed from YouTube and I’m wondering if anyone saved it. Thank you!

>bump anyone has that japanese interview about the daily lolita who always carried a plushie around to "feel less alone" since she switched town?

Since I have seen a few threads about dead brand/less famous brand,I wanted to start this thread on a dead jfashion brand I did reaserch on but sadly didn't found a lot of things on,even in japanese.
The Brand is DARIO and it's the one behind this infamous shirt. The designer is Dario Hsieh, he is a taiwanese fashion designer and his brand was under the H.P France fashion conglomerate. (1/9)

The most recent items I found was from 2016, the only information I found where in old archived threads,
blog post about event for the new collections and pictures on second hand websites. All social media and it's page on H.P France where deleted.
I remember seeing the pictures years ago on cgl and someone was saying the shirts with the offensive texts where translation of hatefull messages send to peoples on the internet but I don't know if people where making it up or if it was my terrible english comprehension ( as you can see my writting is not much better).

I need help tracking down any issues or further info on the publication "parfait"
info is sparse but here's what i've managed to gather so far:
>ran from 1999-2003
>5 issues on paper and 2 cd roms, which appear to be compilations of prior issues and contain bonus features of sorts
>all info i've been able to find so far is from the archived website of defunct indie brand "baby secret love" who seem to have been featured prominently in the magazine?

no signs of any second-hand copies on any online marketplaces i've checked. it will probably be hard to track down anyway because it seems to have been a very small indie publication and probably not many copies exist.
i doubt anyone here owns a copy but if you do i'd love to at least see some pics.

I'm not sure whether this is strictly the right place to ask, but my question was brought on by rewatching Kamikaze Girls and I figure if anyone knows, it'll probably be someone here.

Anna Tsuchiya's Wikipedia page, it mentions her friendship with a model called Yoshika Yuhnagi, who also has a Wikipedia page and allegedly died tragically in 2001. Apparently at one point they ran naked through the street of Omiya in 2000 (but I can't find any record of this on Japanese news websites).

I thought this sounded kind of interesting so I tried searching for more information on this in both English and Japanese, but I'm getting absolutely nothing. None of the sources on either Anna or Yoshika's pages are in any way searchable (unless anyone happens to have the May 2005 issue of Bubka, which I highly doubt) and the ISBN code for one of the cited books doesn't seem to be valid. Also, Yoshika's page doesn't seem to have a Japanese translation, which seems suspicious to me if she really was a popular model. I also can't find any photos of her - all the google image results turned out to be different people on closer inspection. Which, again, is super weird if she was a model, right?

Does this person even exist? Has someone put a weird amount of effort into writing Anna Tsuchiya fanfiction or is it just that all the sources for this have dried up?

Is there picture of early ( as in late 90's early 2000 ) handmade or upcycled lolita ? I was wondering if it's wrote on street snaps listing.

Sorry for the delay in replying. That wasn’t the band but thanks for sharing I love the song.
With help of a friend I finally found it. It was Love Message by The Possible.

Though I can’t find the full mv of the song other than the dance video. There is a mix of different brands being worn and a mini crown hat which I love.

So I looked up the ISBN for the first book, which was written incorrectly. It leads to a book named 『日本タレント名鑑2002』published by VIPタイムズ社. It is a directory for talents in Japan, illustrated and sorted by year.

I dug a bit deeper and stumbled on this page in Japanese (seems like a blog site), which mentions the Omiya incident but cites that their whereabouts are unknown.

Wild trip this one. I'm inclined to believe this is an elaborate fake though.

A few weeks ago, I stubbled upon old tv reality/ ""look a that freak"" style videos about individual wearing jfashion in my country.

Even if it's not lost media, I guess it could be interesting for some to watch, and I wonder if some have similar videos comming from their country :

a 20 yo girl named Sarah wear lolita and live in the north of France, 2011. She still wear lolita to this day. :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ayoRpheqjMI

Marichou, 18 yo, from north France, wear sweet lolita since 2 years, her step father is very ashamed of it and try not to be seen in public with her, the two will then meet another father who's daughter is wearing lolita and have a chat at a café. 2015 but I think it's older
The video also show another story not related to j-fashion, so skip beetween 2:20 to 4:38, 11: 19 to 19:18, 24:39 to 30:42, 38:00 to 45:15, 48:58to 52:52, and it end at 58:25

Princess pudding, live in a small village in north of France, her parents are tattoo artists and she wear full on pink cyber/ harajuku OTT outfit everyday. 2010.
Now princess pudding wear slight alternative fashion, blacked out her colorfull tattoos and do boudoir photoshoot s on her instagram.

Nafrayou, 23 yo, wear colorfull cyber harajuku fashion, a bit gyaru-y by time. She is a great friend of Princess Pudding, live in Marsillia, south of France and want to be a mannequin as well as start her deco brand. 2010.
Now Nafrayou is a great alternative mannequin, her instagram have the same name handle.

This one is a mix of a lot of style, some non j fashion like baby rockers, bimbos, ""rap"" and j fashions like lolita, and colorfull cyber punk. 2012.

lolita at 14:56 to 18:32
cyber at 25:00 to the end
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kGw6ZBirhsg&pbjreload=10 part 1

cyber at 00:00 to 02:05, at 22:46 to 25:59
lolita at 11:10 to 17:12
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BzuMpvl6M9M
part 2

lolita at 6:05 to 12:50
cyber at 19:46 to 25:19
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjhNukTkT_Q part3
ironically the ""rap"" part was the most wholesome.

bonus : this weird clip about dance featuring lolitas from the french community: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xPmYfwgNLJg

this hilarious one about a mom who hate that her 17 yo girl wear "goth". The title is litteraly " My daughter scare me (gothic, satanism)" and it's full of fake deep dark stuff, like the girl putting essential oil on her pillow to help her sleep. (2/2)
