I know this is probably a stupid question but I'm so confused about their international shipping??? I can't find any info on how much shipping would cost or if they even ship to where I live (Sweden in my case). And I'm scared of being hit with crazy high customs/fees. I live in Sweden too and have ordered a couple of times from Bodyline.
Would recommend using a site called tullräknaren dot se for an approximation.
You really don't want to go past the 1600kr limit, thats when the fees become rather expensive and you might as well buy second-hand burando. At around 1000kr customs are usually 250-450kr. It varies.

Note: Last time I ordered the package was marked at a higher value than what I'd paid, resulting in a much too high fee. Got some of it refunded after contacting PostNord, though that process took a few months. Always check the shipping label!

I own this dress and it's awful. I thought it would be a passable casual dress for outdoorsy meets.

The lace is plastic scratchy shit, just felt like razors on my arms and the neck hole was way too fucking big so the collar wouldn't lay properly. Not recommended. You could replace the lace and tailor the neck hole, but idk if it's worth the work.

I ordered two of pan078 and they came in about a week ago. I was pleasantly surprised! It is more voluminous than it looks in pictures by virtue of the sheer amount of tulle it's made of. There's so much tulle I'm not especially worried about it deflating because it definitely relies on volume more than the sturdiness of material like with organza. It also stretches far more than the 70cm max that's listed. For reference, I'm 5'8 with a 82cm waist and it fit me snugly but comfortably for daily wear. The waistband is also nice and thick.

Pic related is a lightweight baby jsk with a single petticoat. Wearing the two pettis stacked creates ultra poof that would be good for heavier dresses.

Has anyone ordered the scalloped shoes283 since they changed their sizing? I have the criss cross lace up ones in size 230 that I got last year and they fit perfectly. I wear a size 7 US so I ordered the scalloped one as size M since it's 240. I've read conflicting advice on how much to size up though. Any advice on whether I should cancel and size up more or if M is fine?

Imo she doesn't look overly chonky from your pic, maybe a little tubby but then again it's not a full pic, and she's sitting. If you give her a pat while standing you should be able to feel her ribs when applying pressure (kinda like the knuckles on a flat hand). If you can't feel them at all or need to push harder to feel them it's likely time for a diet, or at least more walks. Either way she's a cutie pie and looks just as excited about your haul as you are.

Another M and a rare 2L in a nice color. So far I'm pleasantly surprised. I thought I'd get the shitty Halloween stuff.

I'm loving the retro outfit. I'll probably take that to Tokyo Disney with me for a Minnie Mouse look but the seifuku is.. odd. The shirt is a dingy grey like it got dyed with the skirt.

Size L again and I wasn't quite sure what this was until I took it out of the bag. It's surprisingly cute and aside from the pompoms on the shirt I would think it was just normal fashion.

It looked like it was just on the cardboard image. I had thought it might be in the cardboard box costumes because last time I got a lucky pack I got a Snow White dress from a costume box and it smelled so heavily of mold that I had to throw it away and several others had stains.

There's not bags or anything inside of the costume boxes and I have no idea who the hell thought that up because the costumes often have stains or mold or just smell awful.

Ultimate lucky pack back for the last time. I got my final box and what I thought was all panniers apparently has some surprises because they literally ran out of things to give me.

First up, rainbow pannier aesthetic

Two weird fashion pannier and one super dusty shop display. At least it's not a santa outfit. My hands now feel grimey just from handling the dress plastic

A mystery size army outfit and a skirt? Made of waterproof fabric like in rain coats.

I know this has been a known issue with BL shoes in the past, but does anyone have ideas for strengthening/repairing when the shoe snaps come off?

My RHS came in with the piece the shoe buckle is attached to stuck onto the opposite side. It didn't totally pull out of the leather, just the snap itself came apart from the piece that's actually grommeted into the pleather.

I was able to separate them and snap the opposite piece back onto the other side of the strap pieces back into the correct places but I'm paranoid that it'll come apart again while I'm walking. Is the snap likely totally busted and need to be replaced? Can any shoe repair place generally do this?

I don't think the lolita dress is necessarily a lolita dress, Bodyline used to stock that costume in both the lolita and costume section of their stores. Word has it that the costume side was cheaper and made from cheaper materials, but I've never seen it irl to compare.

Anyway, am just saying you might have gotten a "lolita costume" rather than a lolita dress, which would still fit the theme of your box.

Yeah, it does seem like there's two versions of that dress. At the time I bought it, the lolita version was around $30 - $40, and the costume version was $8. The lolita version arrived on a hanger like their other lolita pieces (the detachable bow was even attached to the hanger with a piece of plastic), while it seems like the costume version comes in cardboard packaging like their other costumes.
Honestly very deceptive on Bodyline's end, but I'm not too surprised. Another JSK I bought, which couldn't have retailed at anything more than $30 at any point in time, came with a tag that said it was valued at over $100. Shady, shady.

I bought a blue sailor dress from the lolita listing about 2 years ago, just when they restocked them after forever, and got it in a plastic box with some cardboard inside just like anon did. The quality was about the same to the one I own now, which I bought from the same listing about a year later, but in a different size. That time it came with a hangar and some plastic protection wrap.

LP anon here. Everything I'm not getting rid of or came in a box is currently in the wash but when I unpackaged the sailor dress it was VERY heavy. I was surprised by the weight of it, it didn't feel like cheap fabric.

It's been almost two years already and possibly the reason why there's so much movement behind the brand again. They redid their web page twice, made a huge storage cleaning, started regularly restocking their basics again, became more active on social media (mainly insta), even create a survey to ask people what kind of items they are intested in buying and would like to see more of (hence the recent influx of lots of new dresses). I used to have it in mint. it's alright, the fabric is a little thinner and so it's kind of wrinkle prone, but I had no complaints. I think it's a good skirt for casual, since it can dress up plain tshirt cutsews (i'd often wear mine with dolly cat cutsew)

Antaina and AngelicImprint on taobao make all kinds of shoes in sizes up to 42-47 depending on model, w_phoenix makes a lot of bodyline shoes in sizes up to 42/44.

something I found interesting about my last order, got l009 in solid black and black/white but they're made of different materials. black/white is 100% cotton and has very nice and soft tulle lace, while solid black is their odd, somewhat crinkly polycotton with lace that is much stiffer dispite being the same pattern. it's so baffling to me.

Can anyone who has ordered these shoes recently tell me what the sizing's like?
The Bodyline website says the S is 22cm which seems very small for an S. The next size up is 23cm which is usually the right one for me in other brands, but Bodyline's 23cm shoes are massive in comparison. However I know they've changed the sizing recently so maybe that doesn't hold true anymore?

Hot take, but I find wearing off brand RHS to be tacky as hell. They're not like tea parties where the Mary Jane with bows had already been done a hundred different ways for years and years. RHS are a very distinctive and original look that hadn't been done before, was created by VW, and has been well known to be associated with her name in alternative fashion since then. They've even been custom making them for people if the website is out of stock, so that's no excuse.

I'm the 5'10 anon and I own it in 2L. I don't wear a petticoat with it and I always wear bloomers under it. I put it on to check to see if mid-thigh was a good estimate and it is higher than mid-thigh on me by like 2 inches. I hope this helps you figure out if it'll fit you anon.

Okay so

I ordered both in L size, it fits comfortably. Material is thickish like a sweater. The black is much nicer than the pink, the pink is a bit washed out and salmon-y for my taste but the dress is still cute so I'll probably just pair it with white accessories instead of pink like I was thinking. The collar is detachable also, but it looks honestly a bit plain and boring without it. In terms of shortness, I am about 5'6" and I would still wear shorts or bloomers underneath just in case, stood up straight it hits just above mid thigh.

Forgot to add, deffo could not wear this as Lolita (I never thought you could really, just want to be thorough). The lace is decent, and the little corset detailing on the shoulders is cute.
