Lolitas are incredibly naive about this sort of thing. By /cgl/ standards I'm an SJW, I'm not inherently against trans people in lolita, but when a blatantly non-passing bio male in their 40s+ joins a lolita comm, you should always be suspicious. If they weren't a creeper, they'd stay away from meetups.

Well it was only a few years after this that he joined the ATL lolita comm if I'm not mistaken (I'm not in the comm but I think I first started hearing of Andrea in maybe 2012?), so since then he's probably been a lot more careful. Transgenderism is cult like in many ways, including the fact that the cult is LED by and for the benefit of natal men intent on remaking the world in their image, but most of the supporters supporting, ostracizing, and policing the boundaries and legitimizing it for society are females acting out of empathy and oversensitivity to group social dynamics and herd mentality. The reality is that it's almost entirely aggressive transwomen who have created the cultishness. They won't accept that many women don't want male bodies in female spaces so they use women to push their agenda and entirely shut down discussion of anyone who will bring up the fact that trans women and natal women are not exactly the same in all regardst.

Most people DO accept trans people, they just don't believe that trans people are exactly the same as cis people. Trans advocates go after "soft targets", ie women, to bully them into pretending that the thing they know is not really true is true. But noticeably, they never go directly at the hard targets: the cis men who will never go along with their program at all - the ones who would beat up a transwoman. That isn't who they try to persuade because it's too scary and difficult of a target. Instead they go after the softer, more vulnerable, more open to social pressure and desirous of being seen as a "good person" targets (more likely to be females).

That is precisely how almost every cult operates: a male or small group of males who make all the decisions, but with followers and supporters who do the work of recruiting, welcoming, shaming, etc who are predominately female. The most aggressive radical trans ideology proponents are almost entirely trans women. And most proponents who yell "terf" and ostracize non-adherents are women (or fakebois). Most cis men either do not give a crap or are some level of hostile to the idea of trans entirely. There are definitely interesting sex/gender dynamics that go on in cults in general.
