Once I found a popular bodyline peice I sold had missed damage after I had sold it as I was packing it up to send. No idea how I missed it. The girl who had brought it off me was new to lolita and very excited to have found a peice she liked that would fit as she was busty and this has good shirring. Over the years I've removed a lot of small satin ribbon bows from mainly blouses and cutsews that imo either didn't have a flattering placement or made something a tad to sweet looking for me, specifically MmM items. Most of my shoes are real leather and thete isn't a huge difference but for pleather and other types I can't wear certain shoes if I let myself gain 20~ lbs. like I did at the start of quarantine.

I just saw a video of someone confessing they don’t zip up their main pieces all the way. Is it bad that i snickered a little?? i wonder if they’d ever wear them out like that? it makes me so confused as to why people would buy clothes that don’t fit them unless they’re planning to lose weight or something. It’s also kind of painful to see shirred pieces being stretched out to the point the elastics get ruined.

Nah, I laugh at this too. I think not zipping something up all the way also compromises the zipper and makes it more prone to breaking (which is already a common enough problem). I would be so self-conscious walking around if I had to leave the dress unzipped. It would just be a painful reminder my body doesn't fit something.

the problem with me is that I can’t find the motivation to lose weight. I keep buying stuff as if I’ll ever fit them. I’ve told myself not to buy anything at all until I manage to lose 30 pounds but I can’t even to get up my lazy ass to workout or to leave the sweets. Just pick up a hobby that’s active. Cycling is pretty fun and if you don’t have any motivation find someone that has the same goal as you so that you can both keep each other motivated. It takes time though so take small steps that way you don’t burn yourself out. It gets easier once you built up a habit
