Her indigenous lineage isn't much different than many white canadians who have a great or great-great indigenous grandparent, and she hasn't been able to really show evidence otherwise. It's mostly just her blatant statements about identifying as indigenous. I would imagine this type of behaviour gets really old to those that actually have status.
