Considering the area, I doubt it. At this point, I'm desperate enough that I'd be happy if even a small con like 2,000 miles away from me happens. Trust me, thats not even worth driving 10 miles for under normal conditions. There was a huntsville anime day hosted by the same people here last week that i didn't bother going to because of how dead it was last year. no one I knew wanted to go either.

Really great example there. Please bring up car crashes or the flu or whatever other backward-ass smooth-brained reason you have.

It's all fucked.
The government massively dropped the fucking ball on this and has done very little to rectify the problem.
This is just bringing decades of systemic failures to light. We don't make anything in this country anymore. Our healthcare system is designed to be constantly run at capacity to maximize profit and this pandemic completely overwhelmed it.
Other countries have not fucked this up quite as badly as the US has. And while he played a big part in fucking it up, it's not entirely Trump's fault. Even everyone's favorite saint Fauci was telling people not to wear masks for the first couple months.

Your narrative doesnt add up. If Trumpers dont abide by it, why is it that Democrat cities still have "high cases?"

>> No.10529662

Nayrt but just because democrats "run" a city doesn't mean every person in a city is liberal and following the rules, the idea that cities are liberal stomping grounds is kind of a false narrative, at least in a lot of larger states. And cities have higher populations regardless of political affiliation so a few people not washing their hands or covering their sneeze here and there can often just lead to exponential spread of pathogens in general.

You don't think they gerrymander and redistrict as much as republicans? And cities have higher minority populations who are often socially relatively conservative but other than super catholic Latinas and some Asians will just generally vote Democrat because they are used to it.
