MAYBE we'll see cons in the second half, but it's way too soon to call it either way.

Mass gathering events set for Spring 2021 are already in danger. Wrestlemania is set to be in LA but now reports are surfacing that WWE may move it to Tampa since it was suppose to be their this year and Florida has lifted their restrictions. We'll know before the end of October if winter cons such as ALA, Sac Anime, and Katsucon will be cancelled. Even D23 has skipped 2021 altogether, that tells you 2021 is already lost.

As someone who works with the industry side of cons, I would say that international guests are not coming back to the US until late 2021 at the earliest and it's better to look forward to bookings in 2022 already. International guests are a large part of cons to me so basically cons won't be "back" until then.
