I can't speak for anyone else but personally I wore goth for over a decade, but always more on the punk, mallgoth, cyber, industrial side of things. I was never into the neo-victorian romantic vampire look at all, and in fact usually disliked it. (I liked spikes and black leather, not tophats and lace.) So when I started wearing lolita, I was drawn to sweet and punky looks, and definitely not Elegant Gothic Lolita Aristocrat Vampire Romance.

For me, fashion has always been an important part of my personal expression. The message sweet projects is "fuck you, I'll wear a hello kitty backpack if I want to" and for me that resonates a lot more than gothic does.

Maybe it's because I have lived in Texas but she never struck me as rich. I've met actual well off girls who like lolita, Tyler probably isn't really one of them. Plus in America even if your parents made say, $150K a year (not exactly rich but a lot if they only have a couple kids), as an adult who has moved out, you will never see any of that beyond gifts or if you're in trouble or something unless the family structure in your culture is very strong like Asians or something. Really a lot of the time white parents let their kid fend for themselves unless they actively need help which Tyler doesn't given her ability to afford housing and lolita dresses regularly.

Cost of living in TX is far lower unless you live in a major city. All the suburbs are cheap af though. 2 story 4 bedroom homes for cheap. But within any city it'll be pricey. In Austin, where a lot of people are moving to for example, a moderate sized home can easily be $500K (it'll be a good size but not always the best for the value, depending on the neighborhood).

I would like to see more toned down daily lolitas talking about the challenges of wearing the fashion every day and sharing advice. Stuff like which fabrics work better for different activities, what sort of items and details make a coord seem more OTT and what to pay attention to when you want a coord that's cute yet toned down.
I'd also like to see more videos about how to dress flattering in lolita. Going in depth about different cuts and styles and materials and how they affect silhouette and body type. Of course most people know the basics, avoid empire cuts if you're busty, that sort of thing, but I feel like being into lolita for a good while means you discover less obvious factors and tricks with experience. That would be interesting to hear about.

I like subjects like those the best because they're questions or issues that I think about a lot and hearing other peoples thoughts on them provides a new perspective. I think it's more interesting than things like unboxings because it applies to my daily life more.

After my first ones I complained exactly twice about not fitting my dresses anymore, because even though it's okay to be bummed out about it, whining in public any chance you get won't help you at all. Also, it's something to be expected. You have about 9 months to get used to the fact that you might not have the same body afterwards.
