I've been on /cgl/ for 2 years now and I actually cosplay. I'd like to discuss cosplay, and cosplay related things, not see 5 PT/Ashley/Dakota/whatever tripfag drama threads. It's not fun, it's not cute, it's not board related. Saying it's been a part of /cgl/ since the beginning doesn't mean it belongs on the board.

I don't think you understand that you can hide drama threads and that even with drama threads there is still a majority cosplay related threads. At the same time, you also have to accept that this is a primarily female board and that all threads will devolve into drama without having a place to lash out (hence why there are so many dramu threads). Anyway, eventually it's just going to contaminate the cosplay threads even more, I've seen it happen. You'll be begging for these threads back once your cosplay threads get shitted up by hungry dramu lamus

As much as I hate to admit it, I'm with OP on this one.

Moot himself said that "PT threads have got to go" and anyone who said a word against him he threatened to ban for just that alone. No matter what you actual board members say, he's very much against the trend of ~singling cosplayers out~. It's ok to post dead mutilated people on other boards, but it's taboo and not allowed to talk shit about a cosplayer on a cosplay board. Lame, I know, but that seems to be how it is.
