Well fuck. I bought 7 pairs of Antaina shoes. I've had SS but found they scuff way more, and I hate them and sold the 3 pairs I had. I've always loved Antaina, and they don't make my toes blister or hurt when walking for a long time like SS does. Yes, I buy the correct size.

Guys omfg I'm so excited I just received my Taobao package! I bought a lot of Chess Story... And a word of advice: Buy 1-2 sizes UP. I bought a ton of their wrist cuffs. I don't know how tiny that Asian model is, but she must be skinnier than me. Those wrist cuffs... The elastic is barely there. It fits as if it were for a child and I can't wear them. I have a very thin/bony wrists as well. I can't zip up their Starry Angel or Chocolate Party or the Marriage dress (I'm usually a size XS/S), and that's what I ordered. Now I know I have to go with Medium or Large because their stuff - their measurements are all lies. They need to learn how to provide accurate measurements. Now I'm stuck with 4 beautiful dresses I can't wear unless I get thinner than I already am. Sigh.

Hi anon, I knit and crochet and have bought yarn from taobao. I found that they don't have similar terms for yarn weights (like sock/lace/etc) instead they categorize them by needle sizes and/or their general "thickness". Take one shop for instance: 极细(very thin), 细(thin), 中细(medium thin), 中粗(medium thick), 粗(thick) and 极粗(very thick). Some shops have pictures of their yarns on rulers/measuring tapes so you can guesstimate. Since there isn't any standardized thickness and many sellers don't list the yardage of their yarns, I usually shop at non-US ebay/online retailers if I have a specific project. Where do you live, anon? I can recommend a few places.

Nah, I don't think you need to worry about it. Measuring shoulder length tends to mess up a lot, and worse case scenario you'll just have some of your shoulder in the sleeve section.
Myself have 37-38 cm shoulders, and I buy 35cm-lengthed clothes just fine.

I'm pretty sure they are underweight too, but since exercise=healthy is not as emphasized in East Asia (or more like we have a sort of unexplained disgust towards muscle mass), they don't appear to be scrawny skinny but rather firm skinny, while the average is chubby skinny.

And because pear shaped women are really prevalent there (i.e. lots of people have tiny waist & smaller shoulders) , that's why I guess you consider them to be tiny? The models on taobao are usually between 165cm-173cm from my personal observation, so they are not that tall, just slightly above average.

Now that I recall, I think rectangle, apple and reverse triangle shaped women are a sort of rarity in China.
