My beef with people on these comms is when you give of shipping quote of 10-15$ and then they turn around and ask what's the tracking number is after you shipped but failed to ask about that during their PMs. Even though I specifically say, your cheapest option is.....

I sold BL Fruit Parlour Skirt and quote 15$ to ship and the girl didn't say anything till the day I went to ship it out and then asked me for the tracking number.... 10-15$ doesn't buy you a tracking number.....and it was under 50$....

Ughhh i ALWAYS list the price of the shipping with tracking in my sales post, for both international and domestic buyers, so I really find it irritating when people ask how much shipping will cost. Cos I already listed it.

Plus sized here. Well, very lower end of being plus sized, I just have big tits. I do use that guide roughly, and all the dresses I own are on that list.

At any rate, you have to consider that even though it may stretch that far flat, it won't look very flattering worn. Namely, because it's made to fit something closer to the smaller size in question, but with some ease to allow larger sizes fit into it as well. However, it's not really made with your typical western 120cm bust person in mind at least when it comes to tailoring and cut. Someone with 110cm bust may be able to wear it okay, but over that might be pushing it. Ideally most full-back shirred AP stuff works better when you are close to the 40"/100 cm bust range and below. I'm just slowly starting to get to the point where my bust doesn't eat up the entire space of the bodice on my brand.

I got scammed by the earliest EGL_comm_sales scammer, Mabet. I guess Paypal is better about fraudulent chargebacks, but they wouldn't consider looking at the fact she'd done chargebacks on like at least 15 people.
Luckily it was some awful Bodyline maid dress.

I guess this was probably my fault, but I sold a skirt to this chick and she wanted to do a payment plan. Sure. I'd never done a payment plan before, so I just invoiced her the deposit and assumed she could pay every 2 weeks. I mean, why should I have to remind her?
Well, it was supposed to be a deposit and 3 payments. A couple days after the 2nd, she wanted her money back because I hadn't been communicating enough with her. I guess I should have thanked her for the payment, but I didn't realize she'd done it yet.
Really annoying, and I think she gave me neutral feedback.

I am so fucking done with international buyers who demand that I ship everything with tracking and the fastest method possible, but then drop out as soon as I explain to them that that kind of shipping can easily cost over £20 because of how expensive UK shipping is. Don't tell me you'll definitely buy then drop out on me because you're too cheap to fork out for the shipping YOU demanded.

Also, people who ask me to convert currency for them. Bitch, Google does that shit for you. Convert it yourself.

It was a low price, so if the seller had told me it was missing the small detachable bows I probably would have still bought it, but she didn't. That said, you can still give them your measurements and ask for the minimum, unstretched measurements of the garment. They can lay it flat on a surface and measure straight across, and while the measurement that gives you isn't the most accurate thing in the world at least it will tell you when something is several inches bigger than you are. It's not rude, I think, as long as you don't make a point of the size difference between you and the seller and keep the focus on the thing they're trying to sell. If they get offended by the fact that you're smaller than them, that's their problem.

Original anon here. I guess it would matter if you're thin, but I don't really mind if it's someone a bit bigger than me wearing it as long as it's not severely damaged. A bit of stretched elastic just means it will fit me a bit more comfortably since I will probably not see anything smaller than a 98 cm bust. But for someone who is say, an 89cm bust or below it might really matter to them and be a big deal breaker as it's no longer going to fit them. That's sort of why I think it's important to be upfront, if not publicly, at least privately to the buyer.

This is what I do as a buyer - it's a lot easier for a buyer to find the feedback page, since it's required to even have your sales posted.
So I leave my feedback, then PM the seller saying "hey, I got the item today and left you feedback! I'd appreciate it if you could do the same for me, here's my link: xx"
It can be kind of time consuming to find peoples' feedback pages, so I know as a seller, I usually don't bother unless the buyer gives me the link. And again, as a seller, I wait for the buyer to give feedback first, so that I know they're satisfied and the transaction can be considered complete.

The point of feedback is so other people know how good/bad the seller is, so if they don't get feedback they might just keep sending out unwashed dresses. I have a story of a really annoying seller earlier this winter over the fb sales. Nothing bad happened but it was incredibly annoying.

I was contacted about a pair of boots with general questions like what is the insole size,max calf size, etc. Responded with all the information and even measured my own calves and feet again to give more examples about the fit. I also got her measurements from her to double check since she was so worried they wouldn't fit.

Didn't hear from her until a week later when she decided she wanted the boots. Now, she asks me if the boots can be delivered by X date...which happens to be 4 days later. I tell her if she pays today for 3 day shipping I can mail them to her and they *might* get there. Then she sends me her pp address really late and then asks if I can ship them today anyway (it was already past post office hours) and that she really needs them for an event this weekend (you contacted me 2 weeks prior but you only try to purchase 4 days before you need them so desperately?)

Since there was no way they'd get there I just offered her a refund. Then she asked me if I could hold them until next month where she would apparently buy them again without a deposit... I told her instead that I'll send her a message if someone wants to buy them so she'll have the option to buy them first if she's not going to do a deposit. The next month is filled with frantic messages asking more questions about the boots and if I've sold them to anyone or blah blah.

She pays for the boots on the date promised. The next day I get a message asking if the boots will be there on X date...which is again 4 days later. I'm kind of wondering at this point if she's ever ordered anything in the mail. Send the boots anyway...

Few days later get a message frantically asking if she can return the boots and a story about how her calves are too fat for the boots and that she feels ugly and that her relative is in the hospital and she's so stressed out. I'm confused since we apparently had the same calf measures. Check out her profile and see that she is heavily plus sized...should have seen that one coming.

But yeah after 1.5 months of bullshit nope... replied my policy is no refunds sorry. I should have told her flat out no from the beginning and sold them to someone else.

I just got refunded from last night's restock on the international website. Feels kind of bad, I had a whole set and was kind of excited to wear it to an event in a few weeks. Also bummed because this means I have to hunt for the tights on auction now, since they aren't part of the rerelease.

I think the problem with plus size sales is that no one has anything to sell because if it's a nice item and of good quality the girl won't want to lose it as items like that are few and far between
The only opportunity really to buy nice items is if a lolita has lost weight and can now fit average sized clothes - this is how I get most of my stuff but it doesn't happen regularly at all

That and most plus sized brand really work better when you're on the small end of the plus size scale (size 12-16 or thereabouts, a bit higher for full shirring, give or take). And at that point, I just lurk around in the regular facebook group and find things that way. But when you're on the higher end, it becomes really hard to find loliable items offbrand, and most larger plus sized girls I know make their things, but some are better at it than others.

Also consider with shirring, most brand that fits a smaller-end plus size lolita will fit after a person loses weight, unless it's a dramatic change. So unless items are custom-made to fit their measurements, they're probably not going to part with them. I have a few things that I had custom made which I'm considering getting altered now that they're too big for me.

Oh definitely. You need to go greater lengths to find it but lately plus size stuff hasn't been selling great on the comm so there is quite a few things available for the people willing to pay. Some stuff is up for weeks before it sells so the tiniest bit of effort will do. So it really does come down to being too cheap for it most of the time. (for reference I'm 6'1 and a size 20 and I'm making IW and AatP work for me with a bit of altering, underskirts and basic dressing skills)

In the middle of march I sent out a package to a girl in Texas. A week after I sent it she suddenly tells me that she forgot her apartment number in her address and I'm just kind of like well that means it's going to get returned to me but I'll go ahead and mail it back to you. She whines about wanting a refund because now she doesn't want to wait for the package anymore. I just tell her it should be a few days because Texas to where I live is about a 5 day mail trip and the package was already on its way... It took me 4 months to sell this item and so I don't want to deal with trying to sell it off again.

She keeps going back and forth on wanting the item and wanting a refund and insisting she didn't do anything wrong and that she gets packages delivered all the time without including her apartment number (dafuq).

In any case it's been 9 days since the package was marked on the tracking as undelivered. It said on the 6th that it departed the sort facility of a major city about 1 hour from my town. It's the 9th today...still no package and no update on the tracking. I'm getting insanely stressed out with this buyer breathing down my neck and I just don't know what to do or why it's taking more than 3 days for a package to get here from a location that's 1 hour away!

I tried calling USPS but they said all they know is that it left the facility on April 6th. Is it worth filing a claim at my local post office or is this normal when packages are returned that they taking motherfucking forever? I just wanna get rid of this thing!

I posted it through eBay for her is the problem. She filed a case against me at first but then dropped it after I explained to her that I could only use the address they provided and offered her free shipping back (originally I asked her to pay for the return shipping and she flipped a lid.)
